Professional mounting for Real Wood and Durawood blinds. Secure, level, and built to last.
Professional Installation
JS Wallmatrix has supplied and installed wood blinds across Metro Manila for over 30 years. We handle the entire process in-house — site measurement, custom fabrication, and professional installation — so there is no gap between the product you ordered and the blind that ends up on your window. Every job is backed by a one-year workmanship warranty.
Wood blinds — both Real Wood Basswood and PVC Durawood — are significantly heavier than aluminum venetian or fabric roller shades. A standard 4-foot by 5-foot Durawood blind can weigh 4–6 kg fully assembled. That weight must be distributed across two to three bracket mounting points. We use reinforced masonry anchors and toggle bolts matched to your wall substrate — never undersized hardware.
Concrete hollow block (CHB), reinforced concrete, gypsum board over metal studs, and timber-framed partitions each require a different anchor system. Our installers identify your wall type during the site visit and select the correct masonry anchor, toggle bolt, or wood screw before any drilling begins. Using the wrong fastener can crack tiles, split window trim, or pull an anchor clean out of drywall under load.
Even a 2–3 mm slope across a 5-foot headrail is visible when the slats are partially open. Our team uses digital levels for every installation and adjusts bracket height individually before final tightening. We also verify that the tilt rod and lift cords run parallel and operate without binding before we consider a window complete.
A poorly cut valance reveals the headrail mechanism and looks unfinished. We custom-cut and clip valance returns for a seamless built-in look — no exposed mechanism, no visible gaps at the ends. With over 30 years of wood blind installations behind us, our team completes valance trim work quickly and leaves the work area clean before we go.
We cover all 14 cities of Metro Manila (NCR) with priority scheduling for the key business districts. Provincial projects in Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, and Bulacan are accepted — contact us for lead times.
Our Quality Guarantee
We define 6 non-negotiable checkpoints before we leave any site. No exceptions.
Reinforced brackets and correct anchors for your wall type — masonry for concrete, toggle bolts for stud walls. Wood blinds are heavy and must be mounted to handle the load without sagging or pulling free over time.
We won't leave until every headrail reads perfectly horizontal. Even a 2 mm slope is visible when slats are open. Digital level checked at every bracket before final tightening — not just eyeballed.
Custom-cut valance returns with no exposed headrail or visible gaps at the ends. A properly fitted valance is what separates a professional installation from a DIY finish.
Cord safety cleats installed at the correct height on the window frame for every installation involving corded blinds. Required by best practice and strongly recommended for households with children or pets.
Tilt and lift mechanisms tested before we leave — all slats open uniformly, blind raises without jerking, cord lock engages cleanly. We will not hand over a window until it operates exactly as it should.
Drilling dust contained and cleaned up. Window sills and surrounding surfaces wiped before we go. We leave your space ready to use, not with a reminder that someone was drilling in the room.

"We've been fitting wood blinds for offices and residential projects across Metro Manila since the 1990s. The same attention to bracket alignment and level headrails that we applied on our first job still defines every installation we do today."

Free site measurement across all Metro Manila cities. We bring finish swatches and confirm your spec on the spot.
Every wood blind installation follows the same disciplined sequence — from measuring to final QC check. No shortcuts.
Precise width and height readings for every window. We identify the wall substrate, confirm the mount type (inside or outside frame), note any obstacles such as handles, locks, or crown moulding, and bring finish swatches so you can select on the spot.
Blinds cut and assembled to your exact dimensions at our workshop. Slat width, headrail length, tilt rod placement, lift cord routing, and valance trim are all spec'd to your window measurements. Lead time: 7–14 working days from order confirmation.
We re-verify measurements before drilling and confirm mount type and furniture clearance with you. The installer walks through the room to check for any changes since the site visit — new tiles, fresh paint, relocated handles — that might affect bracket placement.
Brackets drilled with the correct fastener per wall type. A digital level is placed on the headrail before final tightening. For multiple windows in the same room, we align headrail heights so all blinds sit at a consistent elevation across the wall.
Valance trimmed and clipped into place. Tilt mechanism tested (all slats open and close uniformly), lift cord tested (blind raises without jerking), cord lock or clutch mechanism verified. Child-safety cord cleats installed where needed. Site cleaned before we leave.

Before Installation Day
Inside mount needs a minimum 3.5 cm frame depth for a flush, built-in look. Outside mount covers the full frame and is better for shallow reveals or windows with limited depth. Confirm your preference before installation day.
Move furniture 1 metre back from each window. Remove window sill items and existing curtains, rods, or hooks. A clear work area prevents damage to furniture and allows the installer to work efficiently without stops.
Unsure if it's CHB, reinforced concrete, or gypsum? Tell us at the site visit — we'll select the correct anchor. No surprises on install day. If you've recently tiled or replastered a wall, note that so we can plan the right anchor depth.
220V outlet required within 30 cm of the headrail end cap. Arrange with your electrician before installation day if no outlet exists. The motor unit mounts inside the headrail casing and is concealed by the valance — no exposed wiring on the finished blind.
BGC, Makati, and Ortigas condos often require a building management permit for drilling. Check with your building admin and have the permit ready before installation day to avoid rescheduling.
